22Gz UNVEILS “NEVER BE THE SAME 

(FEAT. JACKBOY)”

THE BLIXKY TAPE 2 AVAILABLE NOW AT ALL DSPS AND STREAMING SERVICES 

   Groundbreaking Brooklyn-based drill pioneer 22Gz has announced today’s premiere of the official music video for “Never Be The Same (Feat. Jackboy),” streaming now at YouTube.

     “Never Be The Same (Feat. Jackboy)” is among the highlights found on 22Gz’s acclaimed new mixtape, THE BLIXKY TAPE 2, available now via Atlantic at all DSPs and streaming services. The project – which marks the long anticipated follow-up to 2019’s critically acclaimed THE BLIXKY TAPE – further includes such recent singles as “Casa” and “Twirlanta,” both joined by official music videos streaming now at YouTube, with the latter visual now approaching 4.5M views.

     THE BLIXKY TAPE 2 was first heralded last fall by the powerful single, “Fallen Blixkys,” available for streaming and download. An emotional tribute to 22Gz’s fallen Blixky comrades, the track has earned more than 90M worldwide streams to date and is joined by an equally potent official video, now boasting more than 2.5 views via YouTube.

     THE BLIXKY TAPE 2 – which features beats created by a cadre of top domestic and international producers including Reazy Renegade, Ghosty, Young Dza, Zacky Beatz, and more – also includes the lyrical “Blixky Gang Freestyle Pt. 2,” available for streaming and download. a companion music video is streaming now live via 22Gz’s official YouTube channel. The track follows the success of last year’s hit, “Blixky Gang Freestyle,” available for streaming and download. the track’s official video has drawn over 7M views via YouTube. In addition, 22Gz’s original freestyle – performed for Funk Flex  on NYC’s Hot 97 – has earned more than 2M individual views.

     As if that weren’t enough, THE BLIXKY TAPE 2 includes 22Gz’s smash collaboration with fellow BLIXKY and Sniper Gang affiliate CoachDaGhost, “Movie,” available at all DSPs and streaming services. An official video, directed by ATL filmmaker Todd Uno, has already seen close to 3M views via YouTube
