The California BluJays Track Club
Is A Young Squad Ready To Soar!
For the last three years, Princeton Williams has been coaching the California BluJays Youth Track Club that was created and organized by Michael Billew ten years ago. The Club is affiliated with the
USATF (United States of America Track and Field) organization and AAU (Amateur Athletic Union). Williams, a former high school, college and Navy track athlete is a USATF certified level one track coach with six years of experience. Billew was Williams' high school and collegiate track teammate. The female track club is comprised of runners from ages 7 to 13. Williams' original motivation to get involved with a track squad stemmed from his desire to get his then
six-year-old daughter Jasmin involved in the sport.

What is coach Williams’ philosophy and strategy with the California BluJays? He explains, “I start the girls from 7 years-old and they can go all the way to 17. I get them going from early age . For those who are on high school teams, when they get to be around 14 years-old, they can come aboard still with my organization to compete at the USATF level and go on to make it to the Junior Olympics. So they have multiple ways to enhance their talent and keep going instead of sitting out after high school, they still have a couple of months that they can put in as well.”
