Mills is the Founder and Executive Producer of Heirs of Afrika. This was their 5th Annual International Women of Power Awards which featured a star-studded event celebrating and honoring Global Black Women who are Change Agents, Thought Leaders and Dynamic Representations in Entertainment, Fashion, Beauty, Business, Heirs Of Afrika and Lifetime Achievement Award.
When asked what the process was like to select these outstanding awardees Mills explained, "Oh my goodness. It's an intense process. We make sure that our whole advisory board is involved, and we look at the work they are doing in the Black community, and how they are empowering their own global community. Mills future plans include having the event televised. She says that she wants to be the next "Black Girls Rock," which inspires her.
