KICK OFF 2023 WITH BRAND NEW SINGLE

“CAMBIASTE”

     The new wave Regional Mexican music’s most talked about emerging stars, Yahritza y Su Esencia, return with a brand new single entitled “Cambiaste” today. The song and its official video are now available on all digital platforms.
 
   

      The track highlights the inimitable sibling chemistry at the heart of Yahritza y Su Esencia. Delicately plucked 12-string guitar underscores a poignant and emotional vocal melody punctuated by acoustic bass. “Cambiaste” translates to “You Changed,” and the song confronts the tides of personal change with unapologetic and undeniable vulnerability.

      In the video directed by Christian Schmid Rincon, the group ventures through Mexico City, Mexico while narrating the setting through the song. The visual showcases the magical personality and spirit of the city itself as they canvas the famed Xochimilco canals aboard a trajinera as well as highlighting the special bond the siblings share.

   

     

    YYSE continues to make headlines; Billboard included them as part of its “Latin Artists on the Rise” feature, and Variety sat down with them for a detailed interview. Teen Vogue hailed them among “The Teens Revitalizing Regional Mexican Music for a New Generation,” and asserted, “Now Yahritza y Su Esencia is breaking through a female voice in the genre.”
   

 

     Meanwhile, 2022’s “Inseparables” [with Ivan Cornejo] has amassed over 19.3 million Spotify streams and 8 million-plus YouTube views on the music video. Of the latter, UPROXX proclaimed, “Martínez’s soulful voice sounds beyond her years while Cornejo complements her well with his alternative edge.”

     Last year, the group notably earned two nominations at the Latin GRAMMY® Awards and are also Premios La Radio and Latin Billboard Music Awards nominees. Thus far, they have generated hundreds of millions of streams and built a fervent fanbase as Regional Mexican music’s 21st century forbearers.
