Ventura Comedy Festival
2013
The Ventura Comedy Festival
started a few years ago and I am proud to say that I was there when it
began. For those who don’t know, it’s an entire week of comedy of
all sorts, beginning September 23rd and ending on September 29th.
Every year this week long comedy festival has grown tremendously.
There’s a comic niche for everyone to enjoy. Here are just
a few of the week’s showcase themes: Bad Girls, Black Friday,
International, Jewish Kosher Comedy, Hot Latinos, PG-13, 40 & Older, Dirty
Dozen and 4:20 Comedy. (I’m still trying to figure out why they
call it 4:20 Comedy because that show doesn’t start until 11:00 pm on Monday). The week-long
festival will bring in some of the top comics like Tommy Davidson, Erik Griffin,
Adam Carolla and Jay Mohr. Not to mention myself at the Clean
Comedy for all ages “PG-13 Comedy Show” taking place @ The Greek at The Harbor,
(1583 Spinnaker Drive, Ventura
CA 93001) on Saturday September
