Jack Kays Mixed Emotions

Today, recording artist Jack Kays has released his debut album MIXED EMOTIONS, available globally on all platforms via Columbia Records. The album features eight songs that explore a narrative of addiction, loneliness, and mental health as well as redemption.

Regarding MIXED EMOTIONS, Jack says, “This album represents the ups-and-downs of the past five years of my life. I know others have gone through what I have, and I want to share my story so they feel more comfortable with theirs. When I was at my lowest point, these songs helped me get through it, and I hope that they can do the same for others."

Additionally, Jack has released the visual for “TIRED.” Directed by long-time collaborator John Buchanan, the blue hued, animation flecked video finds Jack struggling through a nightmarish late night and all the emotions that entails

Hailing from Cincinnati, 22-year-old Jack garnered an army of fans who responded to his blend of hip hop, folk, and alternative as well as his transparency and vulnerability in sharing his personal experiences – both the difficult and the beautiful. Prior to the release of his debut album, Jack shared several tracks including “MY HEAD,” “GIN N JUICE,”"BOTTOM OF THE BOTTLE" and introspective sleeper hit "MORBID MIND." Kays, who plays ten instruments and writes all of his own music, shared songs from the album in advance of its release via weekly livestreams. The song’s heartening message is also brought to life in the official video, which was directed by the visionary band on location in Jamaica, and follows the narrative of a castaway, played by Dior, who survives a boating accident and grows up fending for himself on a deserted island with the loving memories of his father spurring him on until he is rescued at sea by a party boat carrying some very special guests…

Clean Bandit kicked off an exciting new chapter in their illustrious career last August, joining forces with BRIT Award-winning breakthrough star Mabel on smash hit ‘Tick Tock’ (feat. 24kGoldn). With their GRAMMY-winning pop formula still proving a hit, the track scored the band their 10^th UK Top 10 and saw them join Little Mix as the only British group to have a new release single in the Top 10 of the Official Singles Chart in 2020. Jack, Grace & Luke Are Clean Bandit

Concluding the year, Grace lent her talents to the star-studded line-up of artists - Cher, Nile Rogers, Kylie Minogue, Robbie Williams and more - for BBC’s Children In Need charity single ‘Stop Crying Your Heart Out’, raising vital funds to help support children and young people across the UK facing disadvantage, at a time when they need it most. And just in time for New Year’s Eve, the band released their third mash-up of the year, 24 hours x Gypsy Women (feat. Yasmin Greene & Crystal Waters).
