As part of the many Pre-Oscar® events that occur in Hollywood, the Gospel Goes To Hollywood Awards Luncheon 2014 took place at the beautiful Taglyan Complex in Hollywood on Friday, February 28th. The affair began with a red carpet entry and champagne reception followed by the ceremonies hosted by gospel superstar recording artist and Senior Pastor of Perfecting Faith Church in Freeport, Long Island, New York, Donnie McClurkin. 


     Luncheon honoree’s included actor Lou Gossett, Jr. (Living Legend Award); actor David and wife singer/actress Tamala Mann (Equally Yoked Award); TV/movie writer/producer and show runner Bentley Kayle Evans (Behind The Scene Trailblazer Award); and actor, stunt coordinator and set military technical advisor Matt Sigloch (Faith and Endurance Award). Performing guest artist included Light Records gospel recording artist Jessica Reedy; GS Records artist Stephen B. Steward; and A&P Records artists The Showers (a family of ten sing siblings). Rev. Toure Roberts, Senior Pastor and founder of One Church International in Los Angeles with over 3,500 members and a worldwide web broadcast following was the guest speaker.
