KOFI SIRIBOE AND DOJA CAT CAUSE TWITTER FRENZY AS THEY HIT THE "STREETS" WITH NEW VIDEO

 

     Kofi Siriboe and Doja Cat continue to cause twitter frenzy over the duo's mesmerizing sizzling performances in her new "STREETS" video that launched March 9th, 2021 which has already garnered over 29 million views. The Actor well known for his roles in Queen Sugar and box office hit Girls Trip's special appearance as the leading man in the video was trending worldwide as fans erupted in praise and took to twitter to share their excitement of his love interest role.


 

     The artistic sultry visuals of the the 25-year-old Doja Cat performing seducing moves for Siriboe, Doja, paid homage to the silhouette challenge that took over social media at the beginning of the year. The director Christian Breslauer's creative angles gave dimensions to the artistic endeavor and demonstrated Kofi and Doja's ability to morph into various unusual characters within the video. The talented couples organic effortless chemistry was noticeably palpable, the heat they brought to the "STREETS" video was undeniable and very much appreciated by their fans.

  Doja Cat is the multi-platinum, chart topping rapper/singer/songwriter/producer and 3-time GRAMMY nominee. Doja Cat released her highly anticipated music video for her global smash “Streets” via Kemosabe/RCA Records. The video, which pays homage to the viral silhouette challenge that has taken TikTok by storm, is directed by Christian Breslauer (Roddy Ricch, Tory Lanez) and stars actor/model Kofi Siriboe (Queen Sugar, Girls Trip). With “Streets” as the background music, the “Silhouette Challenge” is one of TikTok’s newest sensations with nearly 750k creations and participation from superstars such as Doja Cat herself along with Cardi B, Lizzo, Tiffany Haddish and more.

     “Streets,” which has garnered over 343M streams worldwide, is featured on Doja Cat’s critically acclaimed sophomore album Hot Pink which came out in late 2019.

     The 52nd NAACP Image Awards® airs this Saturday, March 27 on BET at 8 pm ET, and with performances by Maxwell and Jazmine Sullivan, and appearances from former First Lady, Michelle Obama, Stacey Abrams, Samuel L. Jackson, and more, it’s going to be the biggest night in Black culture and entertainment

Tune in as we bestow some of the most prestigious awards of the night:

  • Critically acclaimed actor, Eddie Murphy will be inducted into the NAACP Image Awards Hall of Fame,
  • Reverend James Lawson will receive the Chairman’s Award, and
  • Steph Curry and the players of the WNBA will be presented the Jackie Robinson Sports Award.
